This work is done from "pure imagination." For the past three years, I have been concentrating heavily on building up this body of painting so that it can be on par with my observational painting (which received almost all of my attention for the previous 10 years). My five year plan, with two years to go, is to begin transitioning into an evenly balanced studio life with both major work from observation and works from "pure invention."
