Jay Noble's students' work, "Points in Space"
The relationships between imagery and points in space is as old as astrology, and seems natural to the human imagination. The use of landmarks as a way of mapping out a visual space is one of the most helpful thought processes that I teach my students... it can help with proportion, perspective, foreshortening, and a host of other drawing issues.

Visible in this drawing is a slight mix of figure/ground reversal and points in space
